Over the past few weeks, Livingspace has been undergoing renovations in preparation for new incoming collections, so we were excited to introduce our all-new kitchen and closet displays at this Holiday season’s Armoury District x Livingspace Party. Guests were invited to explore our new collections while savouring the tastes of Italy.

Some of the most anticipated and routine features within our tight-knit community of designers, artisans and retailers in Vancouver’s Armoury District have always been the parties – events where proprietors and clients alike mingle and celebrate the diverse, creative landscape within one of Vancouver’s most vibrant business communities. Two years of pandemic restrictions have highlighted how much we’ve missed them. That’s why we were so excited to be playing host once again as we participated in Desserts Before Dark, a celebration of design in the Armoury District alongside many of our neighbours!

Since 2006, the West Vancouver Art Museum has been offering an annual mid-century and contemporary West Coast Modern Home Tour.

Surrounded by mountains, an expansive ocean and a lush rainforest, the natural landscapes of West Vancouver present unique challenges and opportunities that are reflected in the local architecture. This year’s tour featured five architecturally-significant homes, and was accompanied by a full program of related exhibitions, parties, lectures, film screenings, and panel discussions.

As a sponsor of the event, Livingspace partnered with West Vancouver Art Museum and British Pacific Properties to present the Bonetti II House – featured in both the in-person home tour, and the evening Cocktail Party.

The Bonetti II House described in three parts – breathtaking views, state-of-the-art architecture, and world-class furniture. Recently featured in Wallpaper’s July issue – written by Ellie Stathaki. Read more about the Bonetti II house on Wallpaper’s article here.

The ticket-limited Cocktail party took place on July 7, 2022 at the Bonetti II House in West Vancouver – the third of the seven-part course of events in the West Coast Modern Week.
