Milan Design Week Highlights
This year’s trip to Milan for the 2026 Salone del Mobile was once again an inspiring immersion into the world of contemporary design, craftsmanship, and innovation. For the Livingspace team, it was a week defined by meaningful showroom visits, intimate brand experiences, and a deeper appreciation for the evolving language of modern living.
A standout moment was the visit to Minotti, where the brand’s refined aesthetic and architectural approach to furnishings continue to set a global benchmark.
At Molteni&C, the balance between heritage and innovation was expressed through beautifully curated living and kitchen environments that felt both timeless and forward-thinking.
Equally memorable was the experience with Baxter, including a visit to their stunning Como Lake villa setting. The atmosphere captured Baxter’s signature identity, rich textures, emotional materials, and a cinematic sense of home that blurs the line between indoor and outdoor living.
Outdoor living took center stage at Roda, where relaxed sophistication and architectural restraint defined a new vision of contemporary exterior spaces.
Beyond these highlights, the team also explored new and ongoing inspirations from Paola Lenti, the atmospheric Bocci Milan apartment installation, and the refined material explorations at mdf italia, Acerbis, Gallotti&Radice, Living Divani, and Porro.
For outdoor and lifestyle design, visits to Gloster, Dedon and Tuuci reinforced the growing importance of durable elegance in exterior environments.
As always, Salone del Mobile was not just about new collections, but about ideas, how designers are redefining comfort, sustainability, and the emotional experience of space. The Livingspace team returns to Vancouver inspired, energized, and excited to bring these perspectives back into our showroom and projects at home.
